Nasheana Owusu

Hi, I’m Nash, a passionate and experienced Midwife, with almost 17 years of experience, having qualified in 2008.  I feel truly blessed to support women and families during one of the most special times in their lives.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting families from many different backgrounds, cultures and circumstances, including teenage pregnancies, surrogacy journeys, and same sex families.  Every experience reinforces my belief in the importance of Kindness, respect, and continuity of care.

Outside of Midwifery, I am a proud mother of four and a kinship carer to my late sister’s three wonderful children.  Life is beautifully busy in our Essex home, where I live with my supportive husband, our younger children, nieces, and nephew.  We love spending time together at home, going to the theatre, enjoying, musicals, and travelling – especially anywhere with a touch of Disney Magic!

Whether you’re planning a homebirth or seeking support throughout your pregnancy journey, I’m here to provide friendly, non judgemental, and expert care.  I typicsally travel within an hour for home births and am also open to supporting families in hospital settings.
