Bonnie Hincks – Inner Calm Birthing

I’m Bonnie, an independent midwife offering home birth care across Somerset and Devon. I provide continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period, with a focus on supporting women and families to feel confident, safe, and heard. My practice is rooted in building strong, trusting relationships, so that you feel truly supported in making the choices that are right for you.

At Inner Calm Birthing, I provide midwifery care for families planning a home birth. My focus is on calm, evidence-based, personalised support, always centred on your needs and choices.

Care includes regular antenatal appointments, on-call birth support at home, and postnatal visits for the first four weeks after birth. Appointments are unhurried, with time to talk through questions and explore your options so you feel well supported.

You’ll be cared for by the same midwife throughout, building a relationship of trust and continuity that helps you feel safe and confident as you prepare to welcome your baby.

My aim is for you to feel safe, respected, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks with your baby.
